Travel Assistance to the 3GFETW

The 3GFETW is a workshop designed to build capacity and skills for MCS practitioners from around the world with a focus on the needs of developing countries. However if funds may not be obtained from your home organization potential participants are encouraged to seek their own support and not depend on the limited support of the Organizing Committee. Below are a few options that may be options for consideration to provide assistance for travel to attend the 3GFETW. Please be aware that the International MCS Network is not in a position to provide assistance in the investigation. Participants are strongly encouraged to pursue funding from your government as external sources are generally limited.

The Part VII UN Fish Stocks Agreement Trust Fund

Note: Your country must be a party to the UN Fish Stocks Agreement to be considered for assistance and travel support

The purpose of this "[F]und is to provide financial assistance to developing States Parties to the Agreement in order to assist them in the implementation of the Agreement in accordance with its Part VII."
